The sites and neighborhoods you could see and visit on our ‘Manhattan Island Highlights Tour’ can include the following: Central Park, Times Square, Hells Kitchen, Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, the United Nations, Empire State Building, Flatiron Building, Greenwich Village – Meat Packing District, SoHo, Little Italy, NoLita, Chinatown, City Hall, Brooklyn Bridge – South Street Seaport – Brooklyn Heights, Wall Street (New York Stock Exchange and Federal Hall site where George Washington was inaugurated as America’s first president), Trinity Church, Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island (viewed from Battery Park), the new World Trade Center, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum (9/11 museum tickets can be arranged) and St. Paul’s Chapel.

Also, the Upper Eastside (one of the wealthiest neighborhood in the USA), 5th Avenue (Museum Mile) including the remaining gilded age mansions – along with the Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Frick Collection. Also, Park Avenue, Madison Avenue and Central Park, the Upper Westside, see The Dakota where John Lennon lived; and visit Strawberry Fields in Central Park, the American Museum of Natural History, Riverside Park, Harlem, visit St. John the Divine (the third largest Cathedral in the world) – President Grant National Memorial, ‘Hamilton Grange National Memorial’ (Alexander Hamilton’s home) and neighborhoods (dating back to the late 18th century) – The Apollo Theater, the Morris Jumel Mansion and The Cloisters can also be visited upon request.  It’s all up to you!

Our tours are flexible to meet your desires for what you wish to see and do. If you are already familiar with some of these neighborhoods, we’ll happily suggest substitutions of other neighborhoods during your tour.

A Tour Designed With You In Mind

The ‘Manhattan Island Highlights Tour’ is usually a 4 – 6 hour tour, depending on how many stops you wish to make, and usually can be extended if you so desire. All our tours are specifically designed for you!  No two tours are alike as all our guests have different interests.  If you wish to have lunch while on tour, suggestions and arrangements can be made for you.

Your starting and ending location is usually at your hotel. However, we will gladly meet you at any local location you desire. Our tours are all about you and New York City!

Your tour will begin by your driver/tour guide asking questions such as: “How many times have you visited New York City? What have you seen thus far during your visit? What is it that is most important for you to see and do?” And then, we customize a tour specifically designed for you and your interests. If you have a list of sites, stores, and neighborhoods you wish to visit, we are here to accommodate your wishes.
