Manhattan Beverage Tour
The Manhattan Beverage Tour is designed for those who wish to see the city while also making several stops to enjoy the taverns and historical pubs of our city, which date back to 1794. In 1890, there were close to 10,000 taverns and pubs in New York City. Have the oppurtunity to stand at an 1860’s bar where Abraham Lincoln did over 150 years ago, or sit at the table where John Lennon sipped a pint in the 1970’s, or lean on the bar where Dylan Thomas shot back his final whiskey. Fortunately, today, we can still share several of these taverns with you. All guests must be 21 years of age on this tour.
If you have a list of pubs, bars, sites and neighborhoods you wish to visit, we are here to accommodate your wishes. Otherwise, we will be happy to suggest our favorite famous pubs and taverns for you to visit.
Sites & Neighborhoods
Our tours are flexible to meet your desires for what you wish to see and do. Please select from our ‘LOWER MANHATTAN TOUR’ or ‘UPPER MANHATTAN TOUR’ tour or combine highlights from either. If you are already familiar with some of the neighborhoods on this tour, we’ll make substitutions of other neighborhoods during your tour.

A Tour Designed With You In Mind
The Beverage Tour is usually a 4 – 6 hour tour, depending on how many stops you desire to make, and usually can be extended if you so desire. All our tours are specifically designed for you! No two tours are alike as all our guests have different interests. If you wish to have lunch or enjoy a snack while on tour, arrangements can be made.
Your starting and ending location is usually at your hotel. However, we will gladly meet you at any local location you desire. Our tours are all about you and New York City! It’s all up to you!
Your tour will begin by your driver/tour Guide asking questions such as: “How many times have you visited New York City? What have you seen thus far during your visit? And then we customize a tour specifically designed for you and your interests, and of course, the locations you wish to visit.
Experience The City To The Fullest
During your tour we’ll point out the contrast in architecture from neighborhood to neighborhood, which makes New York City so unique and interesting, as no two neighborhoods are alike. We’ll also recommend local restaurants within each neighborhood where you may consider dining while you’re visiting the city. We’re glad to make reservations for you, as well.
Your request is welcome at any time for your touring vehicle to stop, so you could explore a site, store, market, or just to stop and take photographs as there are so many photogenic buildings and sites throughout the city.
